What's Included in the Service?

The final step in our pool closing process is the installation of your winter cover. Safety covers are securely anchored using their strap system, tarp covers are carefully positioned and weighted down with water bags, and clip-in covers are properly fitted and locked in place with rubber beads. Regardless of the cover type, our team ensures it is installed correctly and remains secure to maintain its integrity throughout the winter season.
*Prior to installing the cover, we add up to 20 litres of chlorine to the pool water to help keep it clear and well-maintained until the next summer season.

Once the pool has been properly drained and all large debris has been removed, our team begins the winterization of your pool equipment. This process starts by using an air compressor to clear all water from the plumbing lines, including the skimmer, return, and waste lines. The skimmer and return lines are then securely plugged to prevent any water from re-entering the system.
Next, the pool pump, filter, and heater are fully drained and winterized to protect them from freezing temperatures. Finally, all power to the equipment is safely shut off to complete the process.
Equipment Winterization

The first step in our pool closing service is lowering the water level below the skimmer and return jets. While the pool is draining, we remove any floating leaves and clear large debris from the bottom to prepare the pool for winterization.
*Please note: Unlike our opening service, vacuum cleaning is not included as part of the standard closing package. If you would like your pool professionally cleaned prior to closing, this service can be selected as an add-on during booking.
